Qualifications Required:
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology, or related discipline
- M.Sc in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Chemistry / Food Science
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and QA protocols (FSSAI, HACCP, ISO standards)
- Experience with lab testing, quality audits, documentation & compliance
- Exposure to dairy/food manufacturing environments preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and team coordination

Key Responsibilities of Assistant Manager:
- Supervise and manage QA operations across production lines.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with food safety standards (FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, etc.).
- Conduct internal quality audits, inspections, and GMP/GHP assessments.
- Lead and investigate product complaints, root cause analysis, and CAPA implementation.
- Oversee the microbiological and chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to maintain quality parameters during product development and processing.
- Maintain documentation related to quality systems, SOPs, test reports, and audit records.
- Train and guide QA officers and plant personnel on quality and hygiene practices.
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure successful certifications and renewals.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cost optimization without compromising quality.
Experience:
- Assistant Manager: 5–8 years (preferably in the food or dairy industry)
- QA Officer: 1–3 years
