Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Microbiologist with approximately 2-4 years of hands-on experience to join our team in Umargam, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in practical microbiology techniques, standard methodologies (IS, ISO, BAM), and a focus on essential food safety parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Microbiological Testing: Perform comprehensive microbiological testing on various samples using established standard laboratory procedures (IS, ISO, BAM).
• Testing focuses on critical FSSAI parameters: Total Plate Count (TPC), Yeast & Mold (Y&M), Enterobacteriaceae (EB), Sulphite Reducing Clostridia, Salmonella, Bacillus cereus, and Staphylococcus aureus.
2. Equipment Management: Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration, cleanliness, and functionality according to SOPs.
3. Pathogen Detection: Execute microbiological testing, particularly focused on pathogen detection, utilizing various analytical methods and techniques.
4. Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze and interpret test results, accurately identifying microbial organisms and determining their significance relative to product specifications and regulatory limits.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a closely related field; Master’s degree preferred.
2. Approximately 2-4 years of relevant, hands-on experience in a microbiology laboratory environment.
