The National Dairy Development Board’s (NDDB) creation is rooted in the conviction that our nation’s socio-economic progress lies largely on the development of rural India.
The Dairy Board was created to promote, finance and support producer-owned and controlled organisations. NDDB’s programmes and activities seek to strengthen farmer owned institutions and support national policies that are favourable to the growth of such institutions. Fundamental to NDDB’s efforts are cooperative strategies and principles.
NDDB’s efforts transformed India’s rural economy by making dairying a viable and profitable economic activity for millions of milk producers while addressing the country’s need for self-sufficiency in milk production.
NDDB has been reaching out to dairy farmers by implementing other income generating innovative activities and offering them sustainable livelihood.
The National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) invites applications for the prestigious position of Executive Director (Institution Building) at its headquarters in Anand.
Location: 📍 Anand, Gujarat
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for institution-building initiatives.
- Lead implementation of major Government schemes such as White Revolution 2.0, NPDD, RGM, and multi-state cooperatives.
- Strengthen dairy cooperatives and farmer-owned institutions.
- Guide policy making, governance, and strategic planning in dairy and allied sectors.
- Support capacity building, digitalization, training programs, and extension services.
- Build partnerships with State & Central Governments, international agencies, research institutions, and NGOs.
- Monitor program outcomes through robust MIS and evaluation frameworks.
🔹 Qualification & Experience:
- Degree in Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Dairy Technology, Basic Sciences, Commerce, Economics, Engineering (Management background preferred).
- Minimum 25 years of experience, including 5 years in senior leadership reporting to MD/ED.
- Strong expertise in dairy value chain, cooperative governance, policy environment, and institution building.
🔹 Salary & Benefits:
- Pay Matrix Level 15
- Minimum Basic Pay: ₹1,82,200/-
- Allowances and benefits as per NDDB rules
🔹 Age Limit:
55 years (as on 1 January 2026)
