What are the Key Deliverables in this role?
Financial Outcomes
- Reduction of Non-Compliance and improving adherence to food safety standards.
Customer Service
- Timely completion of tea garden audits as per schedule.
Internal Processes
- Establishment of a standardized traceability system for bought leaf (chemical use tracking).
- Regular sample checks as per schedule
- To maintain farmer training data.
- To organize vendor workshop
Innovation and Learning
- Develop and deploy new training modules on GAP and chemical usage with coordination TRA /TEA BOARD /FSSAI.
- Continuous improvement in chemical practice and farmer engagement.
- Adoption of digital tools for audit reporting, training records, and traceability tracking.
What are the Critical success factors for the Role?
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, GAP, and FSSAI/Tea Board compliance.
- Effective communication and training skills for small tea growers (STGs).
- Timely and accurate documentation of audit findings and corrective actions.
- Cross-functional coordination with Procurement, QARA and Logistics
- Maintaining transparency and credibility in audit outcomes
What are the Desirable success factors for the Role?
- Ability to motivate and influence small growers toward sustainable practices.
- Problem-solving in field-level issues (pest, fertilizer, leaf quality).
