• Job Title: Asst. Manager- QA Organic
• Functional Reporting to: Manager- Quality Assurance & Food Safety
• Function / Department: Quality Assurance & Food Safety
• Location: Bhandgaon, Factory

Role Overview:

Responsible to ensure day-to-day governance of the Organic program at TBEL.
Grade: M1
Responsible for liasoning with Organic CB on routine Transactions, Certifications and issues. Coordinate with cross functions (Ops, Logistics, TBRC, SQA) for implementation of Organic process. Artwork approvals from CB/s. Deviations management and compliance drive on Organic RM & PM.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate with Organic Certification agency to conduct plant product certification and organic material approval audits.
2. Ensure annual audits for Organic standards NPOP/NOP/COS certification are conducted as per plan and Drive compliance to standards on a day-to-day basis.
3. To conduct Internal audit for Organic processes and drive compliances with cross functional Team.
4. Ensure Organic material documentation are compliance as per Organic standard requirement before clearance.
5. Ensure Raw material supplier documents i.e. NPOP, NOP & COS scope certificate and TC’s, test reports, shelf life etc. are compliance to Organic standard before clearance.
6. Coordinate with CB for stock verification audit and approval for imported ingredients.
7. To apply IST, batch approval, PTC, Export TC, NOP IC & COR IC as per SOP and coordinate with CB for a timely approval.
8. To get approval for new/revised artworks for Organic products from CB.
9. To take approval for new Product amendment and approval from CB
10. Coordinate with WH & SC team for shelf-life extension. Coordinate with external lab for analysis report, follow with CB for an approval.
11. Coordinate with Supply chain team and plant QC team to communicate non confirming organic material and follow-up for taking required corrective actions.
12. Manage Traceability of organic material through its stock and consumption on tracenet and coordinate with RM PM QC team and store team for physical inspection of the material.
13. Responsible for guiding and providing training to workmen at plant warehouse and external warehouse for adherence with Organic standards, traceability labeling and allergen control standards.
14. Responsible for Coordinating with Organic certification agency to-
    a) Plan certification renewal and new certification audits in time.
    b) Approval of all received organic materials and its inspection program
    c) Approval of accepted material in BME
    d) Submission of organic certification related documentation with CB for approval of RM recipe and FG dispatch.
    e) Maintaining organic material traceability and FG traceability thru TC management program.
    

Job Qualification & Experience:

• Graduate from science or agriculture with 5 to 10 years experience in organic certification program.
• Should have sound knowledge in implementation and maintenance of Organic standard and processes (NPOP, NOP, COS).
• Should have good knowledge about Organic certification standards and hands on experience for interacting with Organic CBs to conduct plant audits, materiel and product approval and maintenance of its traceability.
• Should have knowledge of Tracenet portal and activities.
• Should have good verbal and written communication & skills and presentation skills. Should possess good influencing and interpersonal skills for collaborative
  working with cross functional team.
• Good understanding of labeling regulations for packaging materials of organic
  products and materials.
