Suntory Global Spirits, a global leader in premium spirits, is looking for an experienced regulatory and commercial strategy professional to strengthen its India operations.
🎯 Mission of the Role
To provide regulatory and excise strategy support within the commercial function, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and enabling sustainable growth in a highly regulated alco-bev landscape.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
✔ RTM & Excise Policy Strategy
- Monitor and interpret state excise policies and RTM changes
- Assess risks, trends, and provide strategic direction
- Support commercial growth initiatives
✔ Pricing & Revenue Growth Management
- Lead deployment of state-wise pricing strategies
- Support Revenue Growth Management Council decisions
- Advise Regional Sales on pricing implementation
✔ Risk & Stakeholder Management
- Identify regulatory risks and growth opportunities
- Represent company with Excise authorities & CSD
- Partner with senior sales leaders and cross-functional teams
✔ Brand & Label Registrations
- Ensure timely and compliant label registration processes
- Support annual excise compliance cycles
✔ Policy & Review Updates
- Provide timely updates on RTM/policy changes
- Contribute to revenue and brand registration reviews
🎓 Qualifications:
Education:
Postgraduate in Business/Strategy/Management (Tier 1 or Tier 2 institute preferred)
Experience:
- 12+ years total experience
- 8+ years in leadership/managerial roles in Alcobev or related industry
- Minimum 2 years as Zonal Sales Manager handling multi-state RTMs
