🌶️ We Are Hiring – Assistant Quality Manager (Spices & Seasoning Division) 🌿

We are urgently looking for an Assistant Quality Manager for our Spices & Seasoning manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Food Technology and relevant experience in maintaining high-quality standards in food processing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Control & Assurance
- Conduct inspection and sampling of raw materials (spices, herbs, condiments) as per company standards.
- Ensure in-process and final product testing for parameters such as moisture, microbiology, and flavor profile.
- Enforce compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC, GMP, and other food safety guidelines.
- Approve the release of finished goods after thorough lab analysis.
2. Process Monitoring
- Monitor process parameters during blending, roasting, grinding, and seasoning stages.
- Maintain in-process quality checks to prevent contamination and product deviation.
- Conduct machine sanitation checks and routine hygiene audits.
3. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain all QA/QC documentation including batch records, Certificates of Analysis (COA), and traceability logs.
- Prepare and document deviation reports along with Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Generate detailed reports for internal and customer audits.
4. Team Coordination
- Supervise the daily activities of lab technicians and quality executives.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct regular training sessions on hygiene, GMP, and quality awareness.
5. Vendor & Raw Material Management
- Maintain and update the list of approved suppliers.
- Conduct supplier audits and evaluate raw material quality performance.
- Provide feedback to the purchase department based on incoming raw material quality results.
6. Regulatory & Customer Compliance
- Ensure product compliance with FSSAI, export standards, and customer specifications.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement effective resolutions for customer complaints.
7. Continuous Improvement
- Initiate and implement quality improvement projects to enhance flavor stability, shelf life, and product consistency.
- Provide QA support during new product development and trial runs.
Requirements:
- Qualification: B.Tech / M.Sc. in Food Technology
- Experience: Minimum 5–6 years in a food / spice / seasoning plant
- Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Salary: ₹45,000 – ₹50,000 (based on experience)
