Job Description:
What are the Key Deliverables in this role?
Financial Outcomes
Capex Planning & Plant Budget: Assist the packeting centre unit head in Capex Planning & plant cost budget. Ensure the unit fixed and variable expenditures are in line within budget. Assist the packeting centre unit head on bill verification of co-packer.
Customer Service
- Review daily market priorities and ensure timely fulfillment of requirements.
- Foster a collaborative approach with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives.
- Ensure that quality standards are consistently upheld, as reflected in key performance indicators such as DPMO, customer complaints, and RFT.
- Ensure the Legal & Statutory compliances of the Plant.
- Sustaining Food Safety, EHS certifications, other certifications in future & maintaining GMP/ GHP standards
Internal Processes
- Packeting Centre Operations: Assist packeting centre unit head in day-to-day operations & functioning of the plant, ensuring the production volume as per the production plan.
- Collaborated closely with stakeholders to deliver NPD and CAPEX projects on schedule and within allocated budgets.
- Demonstrated strong commitment to the rollout of Health & Safety and Food Safety culture initiatives.
- Promoting a strong culture in the rollout of various continual improvement initiatives, including Kaizen, Six Sigma projects, and TPM, in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Ensure the stock control and stock count as per the plan.
- Conduct Plant level risk analysis and escalation of findings.
Innovation and Learning
- Foster Innovation in process optimization & involvement in improving Plant efficiency, plant maintenance & Cost Control & activities.
- Lead digitization initiatives at the unit level.
What are the Critical success factors for the Role?
- Engineering or graduate degree.
- 6-8 years’ work experience in FMCG Industry.
- Knowledge of New Technology (machinery, IOT, 4.0 ….), Food Safety, EHS, Statutory Compliance, Factory Act & Rules, Labor Laws, Product and packing material, QC /kaizen /Small Group Activities.
- Understanding & Experience of production & resource planning & production management.
What are the Desirable success factors for the Role?
- Understanding & Experience of overall plant operations.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering actionable insights and innovative solutions.
- Good communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities
- Familiarity with the FMCG products an understanding of its challenges and opportunities.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and manage complex and ambiguous scenarios.
