NIFTEM, Kundli invites applications for various positions purely on Contract Basis in Project Management Unit under PMFME Scheme of Government of India. Details of the Positions with Qualifications, Specialisations & Desirable qualifications etc. are as under:
- Post: Consultant (for preparation of course material, DPR etc. for the entire training)
- Salary: Rs.1.10 Lakh p.m.
Qualification & Upper Age Limit:
- Essential: Master’s degree in Food Technology/ Food Engineering/ agricultural Economics/ PGDM with specialization in Agri/Food Business Management from reputed National/ International University/Institute
- Age: 40 years max.
- Experience: More than 5 years’ experience in preparing DPRs/bankable projects, providing consultancy services to FPI (preferably to Micro Enterprises) for technology upgradation, new product development, and experience in preparing course material, desirable.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Preparation of DPRs/Bankable projects for Micro enterprises of course curriculum and course material for training modules. -Identifying capacity building needs at all levels and procuring necessary inputs from SNA and preparing training modules and materials for the same and organizing training wherever needed for capacity building. -Any other work assigned by the competent authority.
2. Consultant (Machinery/ process/product development, packaging etc.)
- Salary: Rs. 1.10 Lakh p.m.
Qualification & Upper Age Limit:
- Master’s degree in Food Technology/ Food Engineering from reputed National/International University/Institute
- Desirable: PhD in the design and development of food Process/Equipment or New Product Development.
- Age: 40 years max.
- Experience: More than 5 years’ experience providing consultancy services or worked in FPI (preferably to Micro Enterprises) for technology upgradation, new product development, quality assurance, food safety management.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Coordinate activities relating to appropriate packaging & machinery for micro-enterprises & groups in the project. -Any other work assigned by the competent authority.
3. Consultant (for A/V content development and teaching material for online classes)
- Salary: Rs. 1.10 Lakh p.m.
Qualification & Upper Age Limit:
- Master’s degree in Visual/MassCommunication/Journalism/Electronics and communication from reputed National/ International University/ Institute
- Age: 40 years max.
- Experience: More than 5 years experience in planning & overseeing EIC campaign for National programme for masses/beneficiaries atgrass root level.
Roles & Responsibilities:
All internal & external communication, For example: Creation of visual identity for the project; -Communicating refined and revised project implementation guidelines as appropriate; -Maintaining close link with SNA/State PIU and development of IEC material for dissemination of lessons & experiences; Organizing inter-state Exchange programmes between the States to study and for replication of best practices; -Any other work assigned by the competent authority.
4. Young Professional
- Salary: Rs. 60,000 / month
- Age: 32 years max.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Support the Lead Project Manager in co-ordination and Knowledge Management; -Provide their input in disciplines like Food technology/Agri business/Rural Development/ Data Analysis/Project Management etc.; -To work on special tasks related to implementation of project as and when conveyed by MoFPI or the PMU (in accordance with the approval of MoFPI) -Support the PMU in all day to day tasks especially in data synthesis, preparation of power point presentation and Reports. -Any other work assigned by the competent authority.
5. Professional Executive
- Salary: Rs 45,000 p.m. (to be recruited for the north eastern region)
Qualification & Upper Age Limit:
- B.Sc./B. Tech (Food Tech/ Food Science/Food Technology Management/ Food Processing Engineering)
- OR
- BBA/ MBA preferably in Agribusiness Management/ Food Business Management with Good communication skills in English, Hindi
- Age: 32 years max.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support the Lead Project Manager in co-ordination and Knowledge Management;

Upload Documents:
- Upload scanned copies of the following documents in the prescribed format and size:

Pay Application Fee Rs 500/- through the available online payment options (Credit/Debit Card/UPI/Net Banking).
Preview and Submit:

After submission, download and take a printout of the submitted application form for your records.
Ensure the submission of online application on or before the last date mentioned in the advertisement i.e. 18.07.2025.
Terms and Conditions:
- The appointment is purely on contractual basis and co-terminus with project for a period initially up to six months, which may be extended further based on performance and project
requirements, and subject to approval from the competent authority. - The selected candidates shall be entitled to a consolidated salary as mentioned against each position. No additional allowances such as DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, etc., shall be
payable. - The upper age limit shall be as indicated for each position and will be counted as on the last date (18.07.2025) of submission of the application.
- Selection Process:
o Shortlisted candidates shall be called for interview/presentation as decided by the Selection Committee.
o The Institute reserves the right to conduct written tests or skill tests wherever applicable. - The selected candidates shall have no claim for regularization or continuation of service beyond the period of contract under any circumstances.
