R&D Manager – Spices & Seasonings
Goldiee Group was established in the year 1980 and is proud to introduce itself as a leader in the world of blended spices and whole straight spices, noodles, pickles, Detergent etc.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Research & Development function in the spices and seasonings category.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
- Recipe Development
- Develop and refine spice blends, seasonings, and flavour blocks.
- Reformulate existing products for better flavour, cost, and shelf life.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI/ISO/food safety standards.
2. New Product Development (NPD)
- Handle end-to-end NPD: concept > trials > sensory -> launch.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Procurement, and Marketing teams.
3. Regulatory & Documentation
- Ensure all products meet FSSAI, ISO, FSMS, GMP, GHP norms.
- Maintain updated regulatory knowledge and documentation.
- Support audit preparation and ensure accuracy in all R&D records.
Relevant Experience as follows:
- Minimum 5 years in R&D – Spices/Seasonings/Flavour Development
Industry Background:
- Food Processing / FMCG (Spices, Seasonings)
Salary:
- As per industry norms
QUALIFICATION:
- M.Sc. Food Technology / B.Tech in Food Technology
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Food Science, ingredient functionality, and sensory evaluation.
- Expertise in recipe formulation and flavour stability.
- Familiarity with ISO, HACCP, FSMS, GMP, and GHP.
- Strong analytical, innovation, and project management skills.
- Good communication, leadership, and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Other Skill:
- Good communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Strong leadership and team-handling abilities
- Analytical and problem-solving approach
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
