- Position: Executive – Quality Assurance (QA) & Quality Control (QC) – Frozen
- Location: Surat
- Experience: 2-3 years
- Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in food technology, Microbiology, or related field.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Assurance (QA):
Assist in implementing and maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP systems.
Support the development, documentation, and review of quality policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Monitor product quality at different stages – raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
Participate in internal audits, hygiene inspections, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
2. Quality Control (QC):
Conduct routine sampling and testing of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished frozen products.
Perform temperature checks, packaging integrity checks, and sensory evaluations.
Ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated and maintained regularly.
Document and report non-conformities and support root cause analysis.
3. Food Safety & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with food safety standards (e.g., ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, BRC, or local food authority guidelines).
Assist in maintaining traceability records and batch documentation.
Monitor hygiene and sanitation practices on the production floor.
Help prepare documentation for regulatory inspections and certifications.
4. Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date QA/QC records and reports.
Assist in compiling daily/weekly/monthly quality reports for management.
Support digital record-keeping if applicable (e.g., ERP or LIMS systems).
5. Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with production, warehouse, and maintenance teams to ensure quality standards are upheld.
Participate in training sessions for staff on quality and safety procedures.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge of HACCP, ISO standards, GMP, and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with lab testing procedures and frozen food production.
- Good communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
