The National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) has invited applications for the position of Executive Director (Technical) at its headquarters in Anand.
🔹 Role Overview:
The Executive Director (Technical) will provide strategic, technical, and operational leadership in:
- Engineering & Dairy Plant Management
- Product & Process Development
- Quality Assurance & Food Safety
- Automation & Digitalization in Dairy Sector
- Large-scale dairy infrastructure projects
The incumbent will work closely with State Cooperative Dairy Federations, State & Central Governments, international institutions, and NDDB subsidiary companies.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning, design, commissioning, and modernization of dairy plants.
- Drive greenfield & brownfield projects, automation, and digital initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, BIS, Codex, ISO, HACCP, GMP standards.
- Promote quality culture and consumer trust across operations.
- Oversee innovation in value-added dairy products and process optimization.
- Implement sustainability, energy efficiency, and ESG practices.
- Manage regulatory, operational, and technical risk frameworks.
🔹 Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Dairy Technology / Dairy Engineering / Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering / Food Technology (Management background preferred).
- Minimum 25 years of experience, including 5 years in senior leadership reporting to MD/ED.
- Strong expertise in dairy processing technologies, project management, automation, cold chain systems, food safety regulations, and capital budgeting.

💰 Salary & Benefits:
- Pay Matrix Level 15
- Minimum Basic Pay: ₹1,82,200/-
- Allowances & benefits as per NDDB rules
