We’re Hiring: Regulatory Manager / Assistant Manager – Regulatory Affairs
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Regulatory Manager / Assistant Manager – Regulatory Affairs to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in food, nutraceutical, functional ingredients, or dietary supplements and possess strong expertise in regulatory compliance, quality management systems, and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end FSSAI regulatory compliance, including license applications, renewals, modifications, product registrations, and statutory filings.
- Ensure compliance of manufacturing and warehouse facilities with FSSAI Schedule 4, GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSMS, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs, Quality Manuals, Work Instructions, Product Specifications, and QMS documentation.
- Implement and monitor HACCP, VACCP, TACCP, and food safety risk assessment programs.
- Lead and coordinate internal, supplier, customer, certification, and regulatory audits, ensuring timely closure of CAPAs.
- Drive investigations related to CAPA, RCA, NCR, deviations, and customer complaints, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Review and approve raw material specifications, finished product labels, artwork, and regulatory documentation to ensure compliance with Indian regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with domestic and international suppliers to obtain COAs, product specifications, declarations, and other regulatory documents.
- Conduct Management Review Meetings (MRMs) and monitor action plans to drive continual improvement.
- Collaborate effectively with R&D, Procurement, Production, Quality Control, Supply Chain, and Warehouse teams to ensure regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
- Manage NABL laboratory testing, equipment calibration, pest control, AMC activities, and vendor compliance.
- Maintain inspection-ready documentation and provide support during regulatory inspections and customer audits.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Nutrition, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in food, nutraceutical, dietary supplement, functional ingredients, or ingredient manufacturing.
- Strong working knowledge of FSSAI regulations, GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSMS, and food safety management systems.
- Experience handling regulatory audits, documentation, label compliance, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
