👨🔬 Position: Quality Control Officer – Microbiologist
⏳ Experience Required: 2–5 Years
🎓 Qualification: Dairy Technology / Food Technology / M.Tech in Microbiology (preferred)
Job Purpose:
The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining Quality & Food Safety standards for raw milk and dairy products as per company guidelines. The role also involves supporting regulatory compliance, microbiological monitoring, and ensuring hygienic production practices across the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
🔬 Conduct microbial and chemical quality testing of products
🧪 Media preparation for microbiological analysis
🔥 Autoclaving and sterilization processes
🧫 Swab analysis of equipment and machinery
🦠 Identification, preservation, and maintenance of microbial cultures
🌡 Environmental monitoring and hygiene checks
⚙ Handling and calibration knowledge of:
- pH Meter
- Weighing Balance
- Colony Counter
- Laminar Air Flow Cabinet
- Incubators
- Hot Air Oven
- Autoclave
- Water Bath
- Centrifuge
- Muffle Furnace
📊 Perform trend analysis of microbiological data to improve product safety and quality standards
🛡 Identify high microbial count areas/materials and implement corrective actions
📋 Support FSSC audits and implementation of:
- GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- GLP (Good Laboratory Practices)
- GHP (Good Hygiene Practices)
- GI & LI standards
Desired Skills:
✔ Strong analytical skills
✔ Knowledge of laboratory instruments & calibration
✔ Understanding of food safety systems and microbiology standards
✔ Experience in dairy microbiology operations preferred
