- Job Title: QA head for manufacturing units (Domestic and exports)
- Location: Noida
Candidates are requested to ensure the below qualification criterion before sharing the profile.
Role Summary:
Lead end-to-end Quality Assurance for a dedicated export unit, ensuring full compliance with international regulatory requirements (US FDA, BRCGS, FSSC 22000) and customer standards. Drive a robust food safety culture, zero-defect mindset, and audit readiness at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with US FDA, FSMA, and other export regulations
- Lead implementation & maintenance of BRCGS / FSSC 22000 systems
- Manage product release for export markets (micro, chemical, labeling compliance)
- Drive CAPA, deviation management, and root cause analysis
- Handle customer, regulatory, and third-party audits (including FDA readiness)
- Oversee hygiene, GMP, allergen control, and traceability systems
- Coordinate with production, R&D, and supply chain for quality improvement
- Monitor KPIs (rejections, complaints, audit scores, micro compliance)
- Lead and develop QA team and lab operations
- Positive & progressive mindset
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Food Technology / Microbiology / Food Science/Biochemistry/Home science/Nutrition/Agriculture
- 12- 15 years of QA experience in FMCG/food exports /Traditional Food/Frozen food .
- Strong knowledge of US FDA, FSMA, BRCGS/FSSC standards
- Experience in handling international audits and export compliance on their own.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Positive and progressive mindset.
Preferred:
- Experience in ready-to-eat /Frozen/Bakery/ snacks / namkeen category.
Note: Role demands high ownership, audit readiness mindset, and zero tolerance for compliance gaps.
