Job Description:
What are the Key Deliverables in this role?
Financial Outcomes
- Tracking Cost of poor quality, reporting, executing the initiatives to reduce the same.
- Take part in the RCA process, executing the corrective actions and ensure the effectiveness is monitored.
- Daily reporting of Quality KPI.
Internal Processes
- Responsible for ensuring food safety systems are in place.
- Responsible for GMP and GHP in the unit.
- Responsible for pest control, calibration of critical equipment in the plant.
- Ensuring Hygiene throughout the plant and personal hygiene.
- Responsible for internal quality audits and coordinating with other stakeholders for the closure of the same.
- Ensuring and conducting internal quality audits and closure of action points derived.
- Ensures compliances during External Audit Management system.
- Responsible for SAP related activities in process quality function.
Customer Service
- Responsible for co-coordinating with customer departments like Quality Assurance, Functional departments like Warehouse, Engineering, production, EHS & HR departments for cross functional activities.
- Should have good knowledge and responsible for preparing functional and system SOP.
Innovation and Learning
- Conducting training to the shop floor team on the process, GMP and Food safety.
- Problem solving and taking initiatives / Kaizens to solve the problem and motivating team for the same.
What are the Critical success factors for the Role?
- Graduate in science background, preferably B.Tech/M.Sc/M.Tech or equivalent.
- Experience in Food/Processing- minimum 2 years.
What are the Desirable success factors for the Role?
- Knowledge of quality and food safety requirement including FSMS requirements, RCA, Training, FSSAI & Legal metrology
- Good quality and analytical capability.
- Proficiency if Excel, Power Point & word. Knowledge of SAP preferred.
- Good communication skills, ability to grasp new concept and implement.
