Product Development Intern at Get-A-Way
Introduction:
Are you a food tech student with a passion for creating delicious treats? Get-A-Way, a leading ice cream company, is seeking a Product Development Intern to join our team and help craft the next big thing in frozen desserts. Imagine helping develop a new line of ice creams or creating unique flavor combinations for our seasonal offerings! Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of new ice cream flavors and products using industry-standard tools and software
- Conduct sensory evaluations and stability tests to ensure product quality
- Collaborate with the Research & Development (R&D) team to refine product concepts
- Maintain detailed documentation and prepare reports on development progress
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to support smooth product launches
- Procurement facilitation for raw and packaging materials
- Support quality control processes throughout product development cycles by visiting plants.
- Research emerging ingredients and sustainable production methods aligned with
- industry trends
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree or Bachelor’s in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, or related field
- Previous experience in ice cream development or food product development is a plus, but not required
- Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
- Passion for food innovation and product development
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Internship Details:
- Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)
- Location: On-site at our headquarters in Mumbai.
