Education: B.Tech or M.Sc in Food Science
Experience: 1โ2 years.
Join LOYKA. as an R&D Officer and help us innovate and commercialize exciting food products, especially in confectionery and chocolate.
๐ ๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ:
- Generate new ideas along with other colleagues/seniors addressing market needs.
- Design & execute development trials leading to finalization of consumer validated product.
- Ensure finalized option meets requirements of commercialization, viz. shelf test, travel test, regulatory compliance, etc. Network with external labs wherever necessary for analytical support.
- Along with QC, coordinate with pkg supplier for new laminates as needed.
- Generate Technical specification of Ingredients, product and work in progress (intermediates).
- Network with procurement, other colleagues, to generate new ideas for VO/cost optimization.
- Network with flavour houses, ingredient houses, equipment manufacturers, markets, etc. to identify new opportunities, understand competitor products, new technologies etc.
- Develop proper records documenting each trial, its outcome and next development. All records are maintained very systematically, all recipes at one place with strict confidentiality. Record should be very handy for designated senior managers for easy recovery.
๐ ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ฌ:
- Develop winning innovation.
- Assisting in Scale up & commercialize the selected innovations/_extensions/renovation as per innovation calendar of business.
- Assisting on floor operators in Lab scale trials with analysis.
๐๐จ๐ ๐๐ง๐จ๐ฐ๐ฅ๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐๐:
- Strong Food Science & Food Processing Base (Knowledge on confectionary/bakery will be an advantage)
- Knowledge on Ingredients / Flavour / Additives
