This course covers the purpose, structure and content of ISO 22000 and how it contributes to improving food safety and business effectiveness. The course focuses on the ISO 22000:2018 requirements.
Subjects include principles of auditing, the competence and evaluation of auditors and the audit process as per ISO 19011 with particular regard to; audit planning, conduct of audit and reporting with impact to the management
At the end of the course, attendees should have an understanding of auditing a food safety management system and in particular be able to:
Explain the role of an auditor to plan, conduct, report and follow up a food safety management system audit in accordance with ISO 22000, ISO 19011 and ISO 22003, including ISO 17021.
