A new milestone has been achieved for India’s agri-entrepreneurs as the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with LuLu Hypermarket LLC. The collaboration aims to promote innovative Indian agri-startups under the BHARATI Initiative and provide them a global platform.
Under this partnership, LuLu Hypermarket will dedicate special shelf space for Indian agri and food products across its global retail outlets. The initiative will also include sampling campaigns, product launches, and exposure visits, giving startups a chance to directly connect with international consumers.
The move is set to showcase the diversity and innovation of Indian agri-products while strengthening India’s position in global retail markets. By creating opportunities for agri-startups to reach overseas buyers, this collaboration marks a significant step in empowering young entrepreneurs and expanding the global footprint of Indian products.
Industry experts see this as a boost for India’s agricultural exports, bringing traditional as well as innovative products closer to customers worldwide.
