ITC Limited – Foods Business Division is looking for a passionate and experienced Quality Manager (Campus Quality lead) to join our factory team.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Drive Food Safety, Quality & Hygiene standards across the manufacturing facility.
- Lead implementation and compliance of HACCP, GMP, GHP, FSMS and FSSAI requirements.
- Manage internal, customer, regulatory and third-party audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
- Drive Quality Risk Assessment, CAPA and root-cause analysis for quality and food-safety issues.
- Monitor and improve product quality, process control and microbiological standards.
- Ensure effective Pest Management, Hygiene Management and Environmental Monitoring programs.
- Strengthen CCP/OPRP monitoring, validation and verification systems.
- Drive foreign body, allergen, traceability, recall and food defence programs.
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain and Procurement teams to resolve quality issues.
- Lead quality improvement projects, complaint reduction and process capability improvement.
- Build a strong Food Safety & Quality culture through training, shop-floor engagement and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
🔹 Candidate Profile:
- 5–7 years of experience in Quality/Food Safety in the FMCG/Food Manufacturing industry.
- Experience in Biscuits/Bakery, Snacks or similar food processing will be preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience in HACCP, GMP, GHP, FSMS and food safety systems.
- Working knowledge of FSSAI regulations and food safety standards.
- Experience in handling AIB/BRCGS/ISO 22000/FSSC 22000 or similar food-safety audits will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of microbiology, sanitation, pest control, allergen management and foreign-body control.
- Good knowledge of CCP/OPRP, process validation, calibration and laboratory practices.
- Proven capability in RCA, CAPA, 5-Why, Fishbone and problem-solving methodologies.
- Strong communication, stakeholder-management and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume manufacturing environment and drive change at the shop floor.
🎓 Qualification:
B.Tech/B.E. in Food Technology or related discipline from good institutions like NIFTEM, etc
