Zealo Foods is a premium gifting and better-for-you snacking brand, working with leading corporates across India. We manufacture our products in-house and focus strongly on quality, hygiene and clean ingredients.
We are growing fast and looking to strengthen our Quality Control team.
We are looking for a QC Executive / Quality Control Officer with 3–6 years of experience in the food industry.
Education Requirements:
• B.Sc / M.Sc in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology or related field
• Diploma or Certification in Food Safety / HACCP preferred
• Knowledge of FSSAI regulations and documentation
We are looking for someone who is:
• Detail-oriented and disciplined
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and FSSAI regulations
• Experienced in handling audits and compliance documentation
• Comfortable managing lab testing and maintaining reports
• Confident in monitoring SOP implementation on the production floor
• Able to manage pest control and cleaning schedules
• Capable of conducting regular staff training on hygiene and best practices
• Basic computer skills (Excel, reports, documentation)
• Experience in F&B manufacturing is a must
Role Responsibilities:
• Fully responsible for daily QC reporting and documentation
• Maintain batch records, QC logs and compliance files
• Ensure production and packaging follow approved SOPs
• Monitor floor hygiene and food safety best practices
• Oversee pest control process and maintain records
• Implement and track equipment and facility cleaning schedules
• Coordinate product sample testing with external labs
• Run and document internal shelf life testing
• Manage internal and external audits
• Handle FSSAI compliance, renewals and updates
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff on hygiene and SOPs
• Support R&D trials and quality improvements
Mumbai-based role (Andheri – Marol).
