What are the Key Deliverables in this role?
Financial Outcomes
🞴 Production KPIs for cost of conversion, Manpower allocation and cost saving initiatives against effective maintenance, RM/PM check as per production requirement to avoid any business loss, Yields and Efficiencies achievement as per budget.
Customer Service
🞴 Implement & Adhere to Quality standards, fully accountable for their role in the final product produced, its quality and the efficiency with Solution
Development: Lead the team for operating machine without any major issues and make sure the machine availability and Support on ensure plant wastage due to equipment breakdowns are to the minimum as per targets.
Internal Processes
🞴 Shift Supervision:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the production floor during the assigned shift, including workforce management and resource allocation.
🞴 Production Monitoring:
Ensure production schedules are met by monitoring output, quality, and efficiency. Coordinate with planning and warehouse teams for raw material availability.
🞴 Quality Control:
Implement and monitor quality checks at various stages of processing. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and customer specifications.
🞴 Team Management:
Assign tasks to operators and workers, provide on-the-job training, resolve minor conflicts, and motivate team members to achieve shift targets.
🞴 Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:
Address equipment breakdowns, process deviations, or manpower issues promptly. Liaise with maintenance and engineering teams for quick resolution.
🞴 Safety & Hygiene Compliance:
Enforce company safety policies and hygiene practices across the production area. Conduct regular safety briefings and ensure use of PPE.
🞴 Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate shift records, production logs, downtime reports, quality deviations, incident reports—and communicate key findings to management.
🞴 Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, or yield improvement. Participate in root cause analysis for recurring issues.

🞴 Foster Innovation in process optimization by effective Operation
🞴 Ethical Considerations: Stay updated on advanced technologies in industries surrounding for process improvement in operation & maintenance. Foster a culture of good operational practices within the organization.
What are the Critical success factors for the Position?
🞴 Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Food Technology, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
🞴 Minimum 2-3 years of Production experience in a reputed Food/FMCG organization
🞴 Knowledge of production processes for spices.
What are the Desirable success factors for the Position?
🞴 Prior experience in /food/FMCG manufacturing environment
🞴 Good communication skills (English, Hindi, Gujarati).
🞴 Proven experience in Production department within a factory
🞴 Good in Manpower Management Skills
🞴 Familiarity with food safety standards (FSSAI/HACCP/GMP)
🞴 Computer proficiency (MS office, SAP, Google drive, Power Bi). Advanced MS office and SAP working knowledge is a must.
🞴 Knowledge of Augur & cup filler machine
