FSSAI has invited online applications from eligible candidates for the 11th Food Analyst Examination (FAE-2025) as per Rule 2.1.4 (ii) of the Food Safety and Standards (First Amendment) Rules, 2022.
The examination is conducted to certify qualified professionals as Food Analysts for FSSAI-notified laboratories.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria:
✅ Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s / Master’s / Doctorate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Food Technology, Food Safety, Dairy Technology, Nutrition, Agriculture, Animal Science, Fisheries, Biotechnology, Veterinary Sciences, or equivalent.
OR
Associate of Institution of Chemists (India) in Food Analysts section.
✅ Experience:
Minimum 3 years experience in food analysis in a recognized laboratory or research institution.
✅ Age Limit:
No upper age limit.
• CBT Fee: ₹2500 + GST
• Practical Exam Fee: ₹5000 + GST
• Fees are online and non-refundable
📝 Examination Pattern (CBT)
• Mode: Computer Based Test (MCQs)
• Total Questions: 200
• Marks: 4 marks for correct, 1 mark negative
• Qualifying Marks: 50% minimum
• Separate Chemical & Biological disciplines
• CBT qualifiers will appear for Practical Examination
