We’re Hiring | QC Executive (Fresher) – FMCG
📍 On-site | Kosapur Chennai, India
We are looking for a QC Executive (Fresher) to support daily quality operations on the production floor. The role involves assisting the QC Manager with raw material checks, in‑process inspections, packaging verification, hygiene monitoring, and basic sample testing to ensure consistent product quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming raw materials for basic quality parameters (colour, texture, odor, batch details, expiry date)
- Conduct routine floor rounds for batch weight checks, PPE compliance, and process adherence
- Verify packaging accuracy including labels, dates, barcodes, and filling weights
- Monitor factory and worker hygiene standards daily
- Assist in basic lab testing and maintain QC documentation
- Support post‑maintenance QC clearance before restarting operations
Qualifications & Skills:
- B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry, Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related fields
- Freshers or up to 1 year of experience in QC/QA preferred
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication and basic computer skills
- Ability to follow SOPs and work in a fast‑paced FMCG environment
- Ready to work on the production floor and in shifts if required
