Job Description
What are the Key Deliverables in this role?
Customer Service
- Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff team.
- Performance review – Right feedback on the review and Monthly one on one to guide team
- Supporting RND for NPD
- Support FM on Monthly MIS & finance cost impact analysis and mitigation to improve the Gross margin of the products by reducing the Factory overheads
Internal Processes
- Commit to plant safety procedures & deploy safety culture in factory
- Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our internal customers’ expectations.
- Increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
- Responsibility for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
- Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions
- Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime – improve eff and to reduce cost
- Autonomous maintenance roll out on the shop floor
- Implement Lean concepts to improve cost & Quality
- MPR run on monthly indent and coordinating with SCM team for material connectivity
- Store Accuracy & Inventory Management
- Triggering RCA and acting on the consumer complaints and implementing actions to avoid repeatability
- Supporting RND for NPD
- Support FM on Monthly MIS & finance cost impact analysis and mitigation to improve the Gross margin of the products by reducing the Factory overheads
- SAP Hygiene, MIS and Stock Accuracy
- CAPEX Managements – Budgeting, Procurement Support, Erection and commissioning
- Maintain the infra of the plant – retain the basic condition of the plant as new
Innovation & Learning
- Identifying TNA of Leads and ensuring the same is captured in training calendar
- Work as part of the Central team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimize results and improve quality of delivery
What are the Critical success factors for the Position?
- B. Tech/ BE in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electrical & Instrumentation Preferably with Food Industry Experience.
- 2 years of expertise in Frozen FMCG / Food factory – Exports Unit
- Engineering Background – 7 + Years of Experience from reputed MNCs
- Relevant knowledge of Food Safety practices
- Excellent leadership and man management skills. Preferably exposure to SAP based working Able to exercise some latitude and technical judgement in deciding work methods
- Basic awareness of statutory requirements
What are the Desirable success factors for the Position?
- Good communication skills (English / Hindi / Gujarati)
- Proven experience in managerial role heading Engineering and projects departments within a factory
- Computer proficiency (MS office, SAP, Google drive). Advanced MS office and SAP working knowledge is a must.
