The Jharkhand State Co-operative Milk Producers• Federation Limited (JMF); formed by Govt. of Jharkhand, is engaged in milk rocurement from more than- 60,000 farmers of Jharkhand, processing and marketing of milk t milk products under the,popular name 0Medha” with an Annual turnover of around Rs.450 Crores handlmg 2.40 Lakh Litre per day across Jharkhand and having ISO 22000:2005 certified milk processing plant at Hotwar, Ranchl apart from plants at Deoghar, Koderma, Latehar, Palamu, Sahibganj and Sarath. CUrrently, JMF is managed by National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) in MoU with Government of Jharkhand.
