This job opportunity closely aligns with one of these key strategic pillars, which is driving Strengthening & Accelerating our Core Business and Exploring New Opportunities. The role involves leading Soulfull Quality Assurance for Bidadi factory and zone involving Bidadi facility as base; 3p operations of Snacks, Mueslis, Masala oats and Cream filled sticks; developing & managing vendors, periodic audits, inspection and testing for Soulfull products. Specification management, product and process risk assessment. QFS and compliance management for attached locations and SAP QI plan creation and SAP Release Control, product manual and protocol set up.

What are the Key Deliverables in this role?

Financial Outcomes

  • Cost of poor quality & wastage reduction: Develop evaluation metrics and tracking Cost of poor quality across Indore and Hold incidents of
    Granola, Masala Oats manufacturing units. Take proactive measures to reduce wastage and product recalls.
    Customer Service
  • Customer/Consumer Complaints: Monitor the customer & consumer complaints, prepare detailed root cause analysis and mitigation plan to
    be prepared for genuine complaint.
    Internal Processes

Q&FS Score, Analytical Compliance of Product & Packaging to FSSAI standard, GMP:

  • Planning and testing of plant internal sample at external lab and review RFT on Monthly basis and Necessary Continuous Improvement
    Plan to Failures (if any),
  • Monitor the Variance between Internal & External Testing results.
  • Implement FSMS at plant. Drive Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all Plants. Driving FSSC and developing systems to meet
    export country requirements.
  • Driving and implementation of US-FDA requirements.
  • Coordinate with NPD for all new products,

Innovation and Learning

  • Lead and inspire the team of plant quality team by identifying the gaps and define the strategy for capability interventions at the plant level. Implement KAIZEN and continuous process improvements at the units.

What are the Critical success factors for the Role ?

  • Master’s/bachelor’s degree in Food Technology and or equivalent life sciences background
  • 5-8 years of relevant work experience in quality management/ New product development in similar food processing units
  • Experience in Breakfast cereals manufacturing operations and or baking / oven operations.
  • Experience of preparing and implementing FSSAI / HACCP / FSMS and USFDA in food processing facility

What are the Desirable success factors for the Role ?

  • Knowledge of HACCP, Food safety management systems and GMP guidelines with Auditing skills, certified auditor for FSMS.
  • Good communications skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Creative and effective problem solver, sound and reliable judgment, and unquestionable integrity.
  • People manager, focused on capability building of quality team members
