Designation: Manager/Snr Manager (Sourcing and New development- Packaging Material)
We are looking for a detail-oriented Packaging Manager to join our dynamic team at Masterchow. In this pivotal role, you will assist in the development and execution of innovative packaging solutions that align with our sustainability goals and enhance the consumer experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging designs are not only functional but also meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end packaging development process from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with design, R&D, sales, and marketing teams to develop packaging solutions that meet brand standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform packaging strategies and innovations.
- Coordinate packaging testing and validation processes to ensure product integrity and compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in managing vendor relationships and sourcing materials to optimize cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
- Monitor production processes and troubleshoot any packaging-related issues that arise during manufacturing.
- Prepare and present reports on packaging performance metrics and project progress to senior management.
- Manage packaging budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure packaging meets industry standards and regulations
Required and Preferred Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in packaging development or management within a consumer goods environment.
- Strong understanding of packaging materials and processes, including sustainability practices.
- Proficient in CAD software and packaging design tools.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams on packaging projects
