Think mulberries from your grandmother’s backyard, or starfruit sliced with salt on a hot day. Nostalgic, right?
But somewhere along the way, these crops just… vanished. Not because they weren’t valuable, or loved, or delicious — but because no one built resilient supply chains to support them. Global trends became the go-to, and local treasures took a backseat.
Internship: Production Lead
Beku is a food processing startup incubated at IIMB-NSRCEL working with India’s underused crops, turning them into exciting shelf-stable, market-ready products – focused on spreads, sauces and seasonings.
We’re looking for a Food Technologist Intern to support hands-on production, inventory management, and R&D.
Your role:
- Lead daily production and quality management
- Ensure hygiene and ability to follow set SOPs efficiently.
- Work on new product development & setting SOPs
You should have:
- Background in Food Tech / Food Science (BSc/ MSc ) – Fresh Graduates are welcome.
- Comfortable with handling production.
- Basic knowledge of shelf stability, food safety & SOPs
- Organised, reliable, and proactive
Full Time | Bangalore – On site | Bangalore based candidates preferred. | Renumeration – 18 k per month
