Job Description
Position Title: Supply Chain
Function: Production Officer Packing
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and deliver products and services
Manage Production Activities
Manufacturing & Packing/ Outgoing QA
Verify allocation and working condition of the machines. Check the adherence of operations to Quality systems and food safety norms like general hygiene, display boards, packphoto display. Assist the operators with any issue online. Verify S&F Transfer Challan vs. mixing tonnage. Prepare other production and labour reports.
In case of any production plan change or breakdown, alter machine setting, plan material change, issue fresh instructions to operators. Arrange for coding studs from stores in case of promo stocks.
Check biscuit quality via visual inspection; Randomly check pack quality (sealing, coding, paneling) and biscuit breakage. Decide on acceptance/rejection of biscuits. Decide on rectification and recycling methodology and allocate workforce for the same. Assign non conforming product and wrapping material to scrap.
IN ORDER TO ensure packing of biscuits is as per quality norms and production plans
- Produce and deliver products and services
Maintain Equipment Uptime
Breakdown Maintenance
Identify the method of repair and instruct fitters on repairs and verify working condition of machine post rectification. Make log book entry of shift activity IN ORDER TO ensure minimum machine downtime and production loss
- Manage improvement and change
Improve Business Processes
Participate in MR meetings as the factory coordinator. Establish action plan for identified issues and set standards for the shop floor. Conduct FSMS audit , facilitate non conformity closure and participate in final audit. Seek approval for resources required to close NCs. Provide FSMS training employees in assigned section IN ORDER TO ensure production is as per quality norms and certification standards
- Produce and deliver products and services
Plan Supply Chain Parameter
- Customer Complaint Handling – finding out the root cause to the complaint and corrective action -decision making-execution
- Review and Reporting – attend meetings (FCC, quality, communication, production issues etc.)
- Performance Management – feed back and discussion b/w & setting kras
- Learning and Development – suggesting to H/R to give training to the employees who are in need.
- Equipment and Process Up gradation – new machine trials, learning the operating parameters, technical points.
- Policy Making – reports against the misconduct, for disciplinary action, attending enquires
